I know it goes without saying to most folks following me, but don't buy Spencer's furry shit. Either stolen or AI, it doesn't return money back into the fandom. Buy art and merch from actual furries.

Always support your own community however you can. You don't want corporations getting in the mix.

If you're wondering, the solution ended up being to have a third party as a guarantor on the rental agreement, so that if any of my checks fell through the letting agency would still get the money.

In the UK it was:

- Can't sign a rental agreement until you have a UK bank account
- Can't get a UK bank account without a UK address (no, temporary accommodation like hotels don't count)
