YESSS!! Speaking of furry comics, modern fursonas as we know them were invented by Ken Coug'r (Ken Sample), a Black illustrator who started drawing furries in the mid-70's and was the first to really explore them as an extension of the self in the late 80's! He also has a very charming style imo.

Was just thinking “hmm, I wonder what’s become of a furry artist whose art I admired in passing and who I haven’t seen the work of in a while because they didn’t leave twitter?” and that’s how I discover they’re uber-Christian and homophobic
