I changed one laptop from win10 to linux mint yesterday, erasing win completely.

not too hard (a hitch with the wifi but a visit to the bios solved it).

looks nice, works fine - of course I already used libre office etc.

have another pc open with the how-to while you do it and use the forum.

First windows-born machine now minus win 10 plus Linux Mint. Next will follow in a few days.

I have known win since the 2.86 but no regrets. it’s goodbye forever.

Makes it easier being already using LibreOffice, and finding Gimp, Calibre, VLC etc. all ready for Mint.
