This scene drives me nuts! This was a fave sequence in the book, but what possessed them to film a sequence about things that move when you don’t look by changing the setup for every shot so you can never compare before and after? Inexplicable

(er, not the stuff about how "EVIL IS REPELLED FROM THE MONSTRANCE!", that feels foreign to me. But showing up for social justice and paying attention to real need in the world, *that* was at the heart of it.)

Out of the run of messy episodes in Twin Peaks season 2, this one stands out as not at all terrible. Diane Keaton's directing is one good reason why.

Yeah there's a lot to be happy about in those results. The numbers for Levy aren't great but I'd put an asterisk on that. She ran her whole campaign without mentioning her extensive involvement with Speak Up For Women, which seems deeply unethical; she was just "candidate who likes dogs" for many.
