It’s Summer Streets in NYC! Gonna bike from Ditmas to Inwood right after this cup of coffee. Can’t lament the wholesale destruction of civic life without participating with wholesale enthusiasm in civic life! www.nyc.gov/html/dot/dow...

I only wanted to find out how long it would take to get to Bamboo Garden for dim sum and now I’m six levels deep in a platform capitalism gig economy fossil fuel postcolonial military hegemonic semiotic turducken.

The US Navy paid Lyft to make the little cars into fighter jets on Columbus Day, all circling around your exact location.
Screenshot of a map with lots of little fighter jets all over it, but also notices of available bikes. It says The Navy is Turning 250!

I’m reading up on these Girardian dudes and it seems that they got all Antichristpilled and forgot that Jesus is the resus for the mimesis.

If you like this change to the street, please let Brooklyn CB6 know by emailing [email protected]

I'm on the board and we're already getting some cranky emails. The folks who are using this and benefit from it don't know they have to stand up for good things, so help us stand up for good things.

This hits different from when it came out in 2020. “Allyship. While federal law and local militias forced us to shut down our Critical Program in Race, Gender, and Institutional Studies, we are still legally allowed to offer this half-semester seminar in allyship....“ www.wired.com/story/course...
It's Time to Pick Classes for the 2073-74 School Year!
Welcome back! Among the many courses offered this semester, students may elect to study essential climate-mitigation skills like underwater basket weaving.

A just described something I read in the local paper as a “three-dimensional circlejerk—so essentially a spheregasm.“ I wanted to share that with my Internet friends.

It doesn’t explain why Peter Thiel is always glistening about the face nor the origins of his furtive and musteline manner.

I like thinking about the people in that picture—a million, maybe, or many more during the day, esp if you count Jersey. We’re all equal and at least a little bound to each other. Any two of the 20 million people in the metro region could meet up in Manhattan in an hour or two.

I thought this was nice.
A view of the New York City skyline facing West, at sunset. The colors of the sunset, deep orange, and yellow, fill the sky behind the silhouette of a water tower atop a 20 story building, with some of the windows illuminated as people do their work into the evening. Avenues stretch towards the Hudson, and on the far right the cluster of buildings that make up Hudson yards glow suffused with the orange of the sunset. Even Hudson yards can be made beautiful, especially at a distance.

Many thanks to @mariabustillos.com for this beautiful write up about the new headquarters of @internetarchive.eu at Oudeschans in downtown Amsterdam. We were blessed with glorious weather and an incredible group of people came alive with voices, laughter, ideas, and shared commitment. /1

I find this album kind of ridiculous but I also have it memorized and find it verrrry soothing

I’ve been trying aggressive wholesomeness as a strategy but I might just need to switch to shrooms.

Here it is: The @wired.com Politics Issue is now live, with more stories rolling out all week. We're so proud of this one.

Behold this cover; truly a work of art.

And we're treating it that way: Starting today, you can find it on murals, billboards, and posters across in five U.S. cities.
