Not an exaggeration at all to say that the feeling in Minneapolis is that the entire metro area is being treated as occupied territory by federal agents. Impossible to overstate how overwhelmingly people here do not like it. This does not feel sustainable.

We evacuated our kids out of Minneapolis this weekend and my spouse reports that as she drove them out of town she saw "multiple freeway exits where people are being pulled over." It feels like the Twin Cities is being subjugated by a hostile occupying force.

This was true Democratic leadership in the house that got this done. If the Republicans in the Senate fail to side with Democrats to pass this it is all on them.
BREAKING: The House just passed Democrats’ bill to extend enhanced ACA subsidies for 3 more years, protecting millions from brutal premium hikes. Next stop: the Senate—where Republicans will decide if families keep affordable coverage or not.
