Today I'm having a headache. I feel so rough that I want to lay down for a bit.

I played SM64DS back in 2005 and enjoyed it for the extra stuff. But I like the N64 version more because it has better controls.

With the original NDS D-Pad it was fine, but on later systems and emulators it doesn't feel right.

I can relate to that, deep dives into Wikipedia articles about random stuff and suddenly 4 hours are gone.

But I've learned to be careful when reading up on genetic diseases because the pictures can be nightmare fuel at times. I'm using a special browser that does not show any pictures.

It's the first time I see this and it looks really pretty.

I live in Germany and enjoy reading books but I guess the fantasy and crime novels I enjoy reading aren't the most obvious choice for decorative edges.

For fantasy it could work. I'd love to see ornamental decorations and things like that.

I'm the reverse, I like living in a village because I can go on walks in the hills and forest and it's mostly quiet and not so busy.

I could never imagine living in a city with people and cars and noise surrounding me all the time. ^-^

Both were released by Hemming in Germany in the mid 90s.

I'd share things on IA more often if it wasn't so awfully slow. It's a pain in the... :P

It's 90s PC gaming archeology. These are games I played before I was 10. I kept all my old PC CDs but haven't looked at them in over 20 years.

Iridion 3D is a really good shooter for the GBA with some impressive visuals, especially for such an early title in the library.

The perspective unfortunately means that it can be a little frustrating to play at times, but it's great fun if you give it a chance 💙

Disc rot never looked prettier

It's a CD I burned in 2004. Out of all the old homemade CDs I kept it's the only one that succumbed to disc rot.

There's also a sequel called Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge (2000), developed by Blitz Games, but I never played it.

From what I know it's an easier game, moving it away from the Arcade gameplay with tight time limits and nonlinear levels towards a more console friendly style. *croak* 🐸

Rayman (1995) - Developed by Ubi Soft Entertainment SA for Jaguar, PS1, Saturn and PC-DOS.

This game is close to my heart as it was the first PC game I ever bought with my parents. In a big cardboard box.

Cute characters, beautiful graphics, music, a high difficulty. My favourite game of all time.

Frogger: He's Back! (1997) - Developed by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and published by Hasbro Interactive for PS1 and Windows PC. 🐸

This game was part of my PC gaming childhood. It's very hard and the camera can be frustrating but I like Frogger. It's a fun expansion of the Arcade gameplay.

My favourite Super Mario 64 courses are Whomp's Fortress and Tiny-Huge Island. 🦊

Tall Tall Mountain can be nice too but I don't like the monkey and the log.

My least favourites are Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride. Rainbow Ride has some satisfying challenges but the ride on the carpet is too slow.

Artwork used internally at DIC Entertainment during the production of the Super Mario World cartoon, replacing Marge Simpson with Mario. According to a former DIC employee, this was made due to an inside joke at the studio, though the exact nature of the joke has been lost.
