Dingoes also climb trees and cliffs. My late dingo, Jesse was an enthusiastic climber. I got quite a shock when, for the first time, I saw him start up a vertical rock wall with small ledges and toeholds, making like a human rock-climber. Amazing since they’re just not built for climbing!

Sulphur-crested cockatoos are large, highly intelligent, birds found in wooded habitats in Australia, New Guinea, and some of the islands of Indonesia. This one (probably male) is peering out of a nest hole in a very old Spotted Gum. In captivity, can live for 70+ years.
