This is quite a coup by Ukraine. A Russian missile submarine at the dock, in a secure harbour, has been crippled by a submarine suicide drone, and there wasn’t even a ripple on the surface to warn that it was about to happen. Slava Ukraini!
As if leaving me with another submarine that now can't sink, to go with all the ships that now don't float, the Ukrainians even hacked our surveillance cameras so we filmed their attack for them.

1/2 The Sydney Jewish community and Australia have experienced the horror of terrorist violence.

The PM's Antisemitism Envoy has cynically used this tragedy to demonize peaceful protests for #FreePalestine and an end to the #GazaGenocide.

If Albanese wants 'social cohesion', she needs to go.

Almost hidden on the far side of the local lake, a pair of Australasian Grebes are nesting. 4 or 5 pale blue eggs are laid in a nest which is a floating mound of vegetation attached to a submerged branch or reed.

I thought this Trump post was a satirical fake when I first saw it, but it’s real. At the risk of stating the bleeding obvious, the man is a deranged sicko.
Not that it's not appalling enough, but this is an official US Government post, paid for by our federal tax dollars.

"The power of one man in a white T-shirt coming between a terrorist and his victims is being shown around the world as an example of how Australia...conducts itself in the face of terror."

Yet Jillian Segal failed to mention this man's courage.
Or his name.

This is who we are. A man in a white T-shirt. Not a terrorist with a gun.

Disgraceful of Jillian Segal to use the Bondi attack to demand “acceleration” of her abhorrent recommendations & already point fingers w/out even waiting for police to uncover any details, esp when she failed to ever stand up against the worst antisemites around, the Neo Nazis.

I see war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu lying on global TV. He says that the person who stopped a Bondi Beach shooter, Ahmed al Ahmed, was a Jewish man. The hero is in fact, a 43-year-old muslim fruit shop owner from Sydney - and this has been multiple source confirmed.

Reminder: During the #BondiJunction stabbing event 13Apr2024:
• Ahmadi Muslim refugee Faraz Tahir was killed defending women.
• Frenchman Damien Guerot and Ukrainian Silas Despreaux stopped the suspect reaching a children's play area.
• Multi-ethnic Australia.

For heaven’s sake, when will Ukraine’s European allies send air defence troops and fighter jets to protect Ukraine’s cities and critical infrastructure? They have every right to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression and Putin has created the precedent by using N Korean troops.
The situation in Odesa remains critical following a massive Russian strike. Power, water, and heating have yet to be restored, and it’s unclear when services will resume. Over 400 resilience centers and numerous water distribution points are operating across the city.

This is an illuminating analogy, considering so many would have reflexively talked of Putin’s forces advancing only at a “snail’s pace”!
Ukraine’s Defense Forces made Russia’s advance slower than a snail.

Australasian Grebes are small waterbirds common on fresh water lakes and rivers in Aust, NZ and on nearby Pacific islands. At 25–27 cm in length, they are one of the smallest members of the grebe family. Eat small fish, water insect, and their own feathers! #WildOz #birds #birdwatching
