Coinciding with the release of Dragon Quest VIII, Hori released this slime controller. For a novelty controller, it felt pretty good.

Sadly, whatever plastic they used to make these started decaying after several years. Ironically, it’s lore accurate now that it’s sticky and shiny.

-Resident Evil Generation Pack

And I picked up Dragon Quest I and II HD-2D Remake for $40 after trading in Pac-Man World Re-Pac on Switch (with a physical PS5 version purchase in 2026)

最深部に進みますが…人質に取られる司祭はとうとうロトの遺品を喋ります、そしてお約束通りエイリアンフライは約束を守る事無くメルキドの司祭は…(｀；ω；´)

間に合いませんでした…。
取り巻きを倒すも（オススメの武器はツインスワロー。レベル31あれば２回攻撃するだけで壊滅出来る）、エイリアンフライは逃げ出します。

急いでルーラで妖精の隠れ里へ！
ドラゴンゾンビが里で大暴れ！
とうとう妖精にも犠牲者が！

戦闘シーンはスクショしそこねましたがこのドラゴンゾンビ、ブレス系の攻撃が強く、尚且つこっちを眠らせてくるので、ドラゴンシールドとめざましリングは必須。
後はベホイムで回復しながらベギラゴン連打！
何とかMP切れる前に倒す事が出来ました…ここに来てボス戦ギリギリの勝ちが増えてるなぁ…。

という事で何とかドラゴンゾンビを倒す事が出来ましたが知ってる妖精さんに犠牲者が…。

急ぎましたが里に多数の犠牲者が出て…族長も重症…いくらやすとろが強いと言ってもすべてを守るのには限界があります（なら何故ローラ姫をお姫様だっこしながら旅をしてるんだ？というツッコミはさておき）。

とにかくルビスの召喚を急ぎましょう！
まずは竜王の魔の手に襲われてる各所を巡る事に！
紋章と銀の竪琴は後回しです！

Has anyone heard if Square Enix will offer an upgrade/patch for Dragon Quest 1&2 for better performance on S2? Initially they said they wouldn't but then they dropped a patch for DQ3, so I was hopeful they'd patch DQ 1&2 as well.
