Going to retire The Life of a Showgirl after today. Final verdict: it's ok. Better than TTPD. I might like the music a little more than Midnights but the lyrics are pretty bad throughout which brings it down. Overall not going to do much to stop her slide into irrelevance.

Loads for me, but the one that really sticks in my mind is K by Kula Shaker, which I forced myself to listen to joylessly several times in the desperate attempt to convince myself I hadn’t wasted my money, and still get cringes of regret about 29 years later.
