Thanksgiving in Canada has nothing to do with Columbus!

We are a colonial country with a million things to atone for but Thanksgiving is not one of them.

Our Thanksgiving is timed with the harvest and it's literally just "Be grateful for harvest"

If you actually believe in what Christianity is meant to be about, you should be absolutely compelled to stand up against rising fascism.

The words attributed to Christ are ... really very direct about it.

The people in this facility may not have wanted to be visited by 1000 Catholics,but these people were at least following the teachings of Christ in visiting the imprisoned. It's amazing how many right wing Christians would run a mile rather than follow the 7 acts of mercy as required by their faith
