Limp Bizkit were one of the first bands I ever saw - opening band at my second gig! - and they were a blast live. Foundational in my love of live music.

And nu-metal gets written off as simplistic, but dude was a terrific bassist. Way too young. RIP.
Oh the Muppet cast is unchanged, you can't mess with the 'almost everyone is Muppets' formula.
I've never in my life needed anything more than Billy Gunn's Ass Man theme sang by Kermit.
I know it's not the point but this post made me imagine A Muppets Christmas Carol remake where Scrooge is played by Billy Gunn.
folks can complain about the effectiveness of scheduled orderly mass protest but to think about it another way its the closest thing we have to the opening scene of A Muppet Christmas Carol where all the muppets sing "there goes Mr. Dipshit, there goes Mr. Ass" to Scrooge and it clearly bothered him
People are quick to say how great his 2000 run was, but then you look at his list of opponents - Foley, The Rock, Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Austin... many of whom were in or around their prime.

That year also included a him going over in a real stinker of a Wrestlemania main event!
I may have missed seeing the majority of the cool stuff that happened, but the one nice thing about starting watching wrestling in 2002 is I've never had a single reason to like Triple H.
The bad guy uses a sledgehammer, the plot thickens.

(this movie is bad)
(I've made the unfortunate decision to watch all the Puppet Master movies this month)
HHH exercising creative control over that one movie sequel he was in.
Repurposing Lord Tensai for a guy who doesn't even work for you anymore.

That'll put butts in seats...
yeah that kinda feels like what was always going to happen
Also I was gonna laugh at myself for calling it a tweet, but I realise it's basically like TNA a few years ago.

"C'mon, stop it, we're called Impact Wrestling now."

"Shut up, TNA."
Not to suggest they've really fallen off a cliff since getting in bed with WWE, but this tweet was how I learned TNA was running a show tonight.

fantasy booking Jake Something going to AEW, forming a team with Big Bill called "Something Big", and having a seven month reign with the tag titles
Gimme a few, Joanna uses heel protector things for similar reasons, I'll chuck you the link for the ones she uses.
Is it an official thing, or just a bunch of weirdos?

(not that the two are mutually exclusive)
lmao, I thought you meant it as a euphemism for like a business that's known to support him.

Nope, actual fucking Trump store.
Like over here (or in Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland at least), you don't even need to pay for prescriptions.

The idea that you could be bankrupted because you took ill... I can't imagine how fucking frightening a life that is.
I was well into my twenties before I learned that if an American has a health emergency that requires an ambulance, they have to pay for it, and that's still one of the most insane, bewildering things I've ever heard in my life.
People are laughing "*he* wants to pay *us* for medicine?", but this'd be a great idea.

The American people deserve to be reimbursed for being subjected to an extortionate healthcare system for so long.
Trump: "We're gonna be reducing the cost of medicines by 100%, 200%, 300%, 500% and even more than that."
I don't think he'd even been in anything since The Straight Story when he got the call to go back to Twin Peaks.
I was glad they managed to get him out of retirement for the 2017 Twin Peaks season.

Obviously aged in the face, but still looked the same physically as well (as far as can be told from the flannel shirts etc anyway)
Apparently they landed this film together because Craven loved them together in Twin Peaks.

Also I think shortly after that the Sci-Fi channel started doing repeats of Twin Peaks and I tried watching it because I'd heard it was weird, but was too young to really 'get it' back then.
Congratulations AI, you've given us that one Garfield panel.

you see, my wife, she has been most vocal on the subject of the protomen act iii. "where is act iii?" "when are you adding the next songs from act iii?" "why aren't you releasing the rest of act iii now?" and so on.
