No, the risks are real we just don't have that severely of an impacted lifespan as a result- especially after reaching adulthood when the risk of accidental injury deaths like drowning significantly decrease. You can struggle a lot without dying. Over projecting the risks is also dangerous.

Most of the world doesn't routinely circumcise children, as it's not medically necessary and poses some risks. The rest of the world still has autism.

ICE 🧊 kidnapped an autistic child without telling his parents. He asked his mom to use the restroom, and then disappeared. His parents opened a public search. They found him at a resettlement center. This is child trafficking.

I'm increasingly annoyed about how people so easily blame voters (which, fuck trump voters) but refuse to criticize the way the dem's campaign.
Because I'm still thinking the Dems might of lost intentionally this time, why else ditch marginalized groups constantly and appeal to trump's base.

Maybe instead of trying to divide autism in two crudely with a chainsaw, we could actually focus on making sure we and our families get the supports we need.
But no, some people would rather argue with autistic adults about how they don't know "real" autism, and must somehow never struggle.

I hate the way some people's understanding of autism has been flattened down so much. Even if we accepted (I do not think we should, as they do a disservice to most autistic people) functioning labels, too many people can't even acknowledge
"moderate" as an option. 🙄
