I'm increasingly annoyed about how people so easily blame voters (which, fuck trump voters) but refuse to criticize the way the dem's campaign.
Because I'm still thinking the Dems might of lost intentionally this time, why else ditch marginalized groups constantly and appeal to trump's base.

I wish someone would explain to the transphobic people that I and a lot of us trans people genuinely do not give a shit if they think we are "really" our gender, we just want them to mind their own business.
Probably wouldn't be friends with them, sure.

Maybe instead of trying to divide autism in two crudely with a chainsaw, we could actually focus on making sure we and our families get the supports we need.
But no, some people would rather argue with autistic adults about how they don't know "real" autism, and must somehow never struggle.

I hate the way some people's understanding of autism has been flattened down so much. Even if we accepted (I do not think we should, as they do a disservice to most autistic people) functioning labels, too many people can't even acknowledge
"moderate" as an option. 🙄

-Assuming people are faking can do a lot of harm when you are wrong. It's really easy to be wrong. It's a safer bet to correct misinformation rather than claim people are faking.

-real or fake off of short-form media. If you neither know someone or are their doctor, you've no way to know their stims or meltdowns are fake. Or really anything about their lives other than what they curate for social media. And autism is really variable in different people.

Look I get that some people are annoying, I've personally had my fill of anyone claiming, "Autism isn't a disability" or "Meltdowns/self harmful stims aren't autism" and shit, if autism isn't disabling at all for someone they aren't autistic.
