American mainstream politics is a scam... I really worry about how invested in that scam people get... It's false hope, false promises, abandonment of people.

I'm going to say the unpopular thing people don't like me saying while I'm tired and brave: The tendency to put down men in an attempt to fight patriarchy ends up doing a lot of damage to trans men, and really anyone exploring their relationship to masculinity regardless of gender. 1/3

We can have a better world. That feeling of helplessness that surrounds you, that makes you want to never resist, it's the most powerful chain those in power hold over you. That chain keeps you compliant, keeps you reinforcing systems that harm you. Resist those chains.

It bothers me how some trauma responses are treated as if they are voluntary. Obviously some trauma responses can hurt a person's self or others-
-But the solution needs to be access to healing, not being blamed for the way a person survived. This doesn't mean letting people harm you or others. 1/2

Adding stigma to personality disorders (Yes, including to NPD and ASPD) only serves to add stigma to abuse survivors while preventing people from seeking treatment.
