I'm traveling to a more expensive state in a week to visit my fiance, and I only have like $100 in checking. Groceries will be at least $400 for the time I'm away, and that's not the only thing I'll need to purchase.

2. Most sanity systems in games are IMO disrespectful to mental illness. Most of them are written by a "sane" person with a "sane" POV, and there are crucial bits of context and experience they miss.

But I'm playing Pathologic 3 rn, and it's the best sanity system I've ever seen. Accurate bipolar.

When I was last working I ended up in the ER from overworking my body and decided it was best for me to stay home especially since my disabled child was already struggling so much with the caretaker he had at the time. I also have a trans child so we live in California where it's safest for her and my family in general as two of us are disabled. I'm working towards getting on disability at the moment as well as exploring options to be paid to be my son's caregiver as his behavior gets worse when I'm not the one caring for him.
