I imagine it's very beautiful there. I hear strains of Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring in my head thinking about it. It would be wonderful to see the Appalacians but alas I'll never have that kind of money.

Thank you. Both a common sight, but pick a weird paper colour and it changes everything 😆
My lavender is all dried out already, autumn has happened early and suddenly here this year. Most of the trees have lost their leaves already.

I sympathise so much, having been through a lot with my own cat. It's so hard, partly because humans expect you to be just normal through it all, but cats are your family.
I know what you mean about how hard it is to chill these days, but at least Trump was denied the Nobel peace prize😆

I would have liked to have filmed the inking of this tiny wren and the shrub's very fine branches with this brush, but I needed to get especially close to the piece for this and it would have been too awkward.
