Why can’t we have nice things?!

Art is humanity. The reason you have a favorite author, favorite band, favorite cartoonist is because they create stuff that taps into your feelings and experience and worldview. We’ve cheapened art, but its effect on our lives is invaluable.
I feel the same way, Mr. del Toro.
Guillermo del Toro says he’d ‘rather die’ than use generative AI

“My concern is not artificial intelligence, but natural stupidity. I think that's what drives most of the world's worst features”

If WGA blocks Netflix and Comcast as well, they we may or may not see an independent WB company.
For that case, now it’s either Netflix, Comcast or none.
See, folks? Guess This is why SpongeBob and Looney Tunes won’t go well together.
Warner Bros rejected Paramount's second bid to buy the company

It’s like if having fun is a crime. I only wanted to play Mario Kart World on the Nintendo Switch 2 once when I get on Christmas…
You know what bugs me? Nowadays people seems to have no reading comprehension. It’s all nothing but just “see ‘n’ panic”, acting like it’s the end of the world and all. You never guess how many times people said “we’re doomed”.

Calm down. Take a break. Read a book.

It’s worth trying.
I have read it entirely.

People nowadays have no reading comprehension. It’s all just “see ‘n’ panic”.

People would start reading a book, if not then as many.
We have dodged a nuke there.
WBD is not putting themselves up for sale. They are just looking at options to share to their investors as required by law due to being a publicly traded company.

It does not mean that Warner Bros. is up for sale. It’s best to avoid these kinds of headlines when we know WBD wants to split.
That’s*

Man, if only BlueSky can let us edit our posts whenever there’s a typo.
That’d why opinions exist, man.
If you say anything positive about Nintendo, you’re a shill.

If you say anything negative about Nintendo, you’re a grifter.

You can’t win.

Nobody can win.

Everyone is a loser!
So it’s a unwinnable discussion. Noted.
What’s up with WB and selling it out?
Warner Bros is officially considering acquisition offers

"After receiving interest from multiple parties, we have initiated a comprehensive review of strategic alternatives to identify the best path forward to unlock the full value of our assets”
That never happened in The Simpsons, did that?
Looks like we’ll never going to see WB going independent. Not in a million years.
the AT&T-->Time Warner-->Discovery series of media mergers were some of the most pointless and disastrous business exercises ever conceived by man

so of course we're going to do it again

this time it's rumored they want $60 billion to sell this mess to Larry Ellison and whatever's left of CBS
Warner Bros. Discovery puts itself up for sale
The announcement comes after WBD previously said it would split in two.

If you ever have an idea for a TV show or movie, make a comic or book first so YOU own the original rights.

Then, if one of these companies wants to adapt it, sure! but they'll only own their version of it.

Don't let your work get caught up inside some billionaire version of Hungry Hungry Hippos.
