If I want to do Rec-Cember this year I should probably start thinking about that now...

I mean, this is the woman who gave us the Definitive Guide To Presenting Yourself.
So many calendars forego looking christmassy to be ~fancy~ and it's ugly as shit imo. Red is always classy! Use a damn holiday color 🤬

gd I shouldn't have gone and looked into London, travel fever setting in again!
Oh and I always check the Barbican when I go to London. They've had some really great events and exhibits in the past.
I think this is the saddest I've been about missing out on the big screen since Annihilation.
No chance of getting it for my small hometown in Norway, but so glad to hear of the wider release. Such a shame to shunt it straight onto streaming services.

Today is my birthday, and if you'd like to celebrate with me, perhaps you will consider buying one of my books? Physical copy, e-book, audiobook-- most of 'em available in your preferred format from your usual online retailer or indie bookstore. All I want for my birthday is to keep writing books.

You can snag a download of my zine 'Iconic' for $3 on @itch.io - it has a bunch of old Livejournal icons I made 20 years ago, plus short essays and thoughts on design, trends and pop culture from the time.
Iconic by Alexandra Gallant-Lee
A zine about design, aesthetic and LiveJournal icons from the early 2000s.

Iconimicon was amazing! ❤️
I do have a few icons from back then (much more if looking at my collection of saved icons others made). Definitely checking out your zine later!
