I'm actually 43 I'm just neurodivergent. I chose those movies because of nostalgia. Those films all have 70's/80's special effects that scared me as a kid, but I grew to love them as an adult. Now I watch them almost every year as a tradition.

Four years ago today I decided I was going to live as a woman named Becca.

It was a scary realization, to figure out that I was transgender. It was scary to decide it was time to stop hiding.

Today, it feels obvious. For all the hate, for all the fear: my life is better as Becca. I'm glad I exist.
