I see people are getting angry about Grammarly using AI as if using Grammarly in the first place isn't an admission of monumental cuntishness

Looking for a couple of freelance proofreaders for a project I'm involved in. Anyone got recommendations (you can recommend yourself)?
My oldest pair, that I'd had since the 90s, did exactly the same as I left my DPhil graduation ceremony. It seemed quite poetic, I bought them not long before I started a very long journey of adult education and they lasted right to the end of it, almost to the minute!
Have a word with @detritus.bsky.social I hear he's a dab hand with stitched soles (postage might be a problem mind 😂)
Weelll I'm not saying anything about that but there's a fair chance I might still be stomping about in paras all these years later
This has surely got to be an almost untapped vein of pun potential
Yes they had a ring of little perforations round the middle of the filter, made them virtually unsmokable unless you wrapped it over with a paper to seal it up!
I remember when Silk Cut required a rizla stuck round the filter perforations in order to make them a bearable smoke!

Since we're definitely on baccy chat in this corner of BS, I saw a landscape gardener in Banbury last week. Business name Fencin and Hedges, lettering in white and gold and taken straight from the old B&H branding. Absolute genius.
GV out of them little bricks you used to get as a half ounce.. the smell of a freshly opened brick... heaven! They did a GV Dark for a while too in a blue pack, that was a smashing smoke. I've been a rolly smoker for years now, and my entire world is strewn with bits of roaching material to this day
There was a certain sort of girl who smoked Gauloise round where I grew up. They were all thin, a bit wan, listened to PJ Harvey and thought big thoughts that absolutely did not include snogging the likes of me, thank you very much. I used to smoke a Rothmans when I was abroad, Camels as well
99p for 10 Lamberts when I started, £1.27 for 10 Number 1's. I remember the latter well because when I got my first farm job I used to work out my day in terms of how many packs of 10 I could buy with each day's money!
I started on L&B, 99p for ten it was! Mind you, they were god awful fags I reckon. Embassy Mild were the best, but available only from lorry drivers off the continent; Number 1's or Regal, til I went over to Samson baccy. Proper sweepings up, that stuff.
First time I gave up was 2.30am on July 1st 2007, the very moment they came round and took the ashtrays away in the club. That particular non-fag break lasted 11 years. The next time I had one was almost orgasmic! (I did have to look the date up, but I remember the time!)
I only dabbled with H, but as a connoisseur of a whole suite of other delicacies I can confirm cigs were in fact a swine to kick. So much so that I'm on attempt number 5 at the moment
Well you've got to smoke out there after all; it's the only way to keep the midges off
Of all the things I've had to give up just to stay alive to witness the decline of civilisation, cigarettes rankle the most. Mind you, I learned not long ago that Embassy retired the Number 1 brand in honour of my sacrifice, which was nice
Missed opportunity for a job share with an occasional table, there; I feel
