A community creating a space for themselves should be encouraged and expecting them to cater to cis men frankly contributes to the erosion of gay spaces by assuming we're the default. We don't have to be welcomed into every single space for it to be progressive

In the hierarchy of oppression cis white gay men are only just below cis white straight men. We can be concerned about the erosion of gay spaces while ALSO upholding the needs of other marginalized groups.
Trans and non-binary spaces are not the reason gay folks are struggling with their own.
