In my opinion, no. Horizon has a ton of story and world but any "loose ends" are very much pointing to its next installment
Like neither the characters nor gameplay nor artstyle in the new thing are recognizable, or seem to have anything to do with HZD's tthroughline beyond limited aesthetic

Horizon Hunters Gathering looks like it could be a good time if one had friends.
But it's wild to see Destiny, Battle Royale and Overwatch smushed together into a Fortnite look with robot dinosaurs in 2026.
