I think that's generally due to the translation of 'ojisan', which can mean uncle or middle-aged man. Not sure why it gets translated to 'old man' so much :)

Tried my 🐾 today at making something Mac and cheese-like to honour the memory of a great feline friend.

It was Red's favourite dish, though he mostly licked the sauce off the pasta.

I made this EU version with farfalle, bechamel sauce and fresh cherry tomatoes. I'm sure Red would have liked it.

I'll accept having YT Redux having a few glitches now and then over having to deal with whatever YT throws at you natively, but that's a personal preference :)

For me 6 videos/row is essential, as is cutting out all the empty space, the 'AI summary' and other trash. Redux handles that fine.

If Columbus Day is more about Italian heritage, may I propose we make it "Fracastoro Day", in honor of the Italian physicist whose studies of syphilis (possibly introduced to Europe by Columbus) formed the earliest basis for the germ theory of disease in 1546.

He also looked like this:

Have you ever seen one of the MAGA fascists laugh or have fun? Have you seen them crack a smile that reaches their eyes?

Trump, Miller, Vought, Bondi, etc. are terminally incapable of feeling enjoyment. Hence why others having fun enrages them so much, as they know deep inside that they're broken.

I love it so much that the anti-fascist movement in the US are leaning into the inflatable costumes trend. It agitates the MAGA fascists in so many ways.

First because it ridicules the fascists, secondly because it shows anti-fascists having some fun, which is an emotion that MAGA is incapable of.
