I just want a magic pill to make all this go away so I can write, draw, and interact without that tiny voice telling me that everyone hates me or attention seeking. I’m fucking 31 years old this shit shouldn’t matter anymore.

Hate to get personal on main, but god do I hate having the mental illnesses I have. I hate taking the meds because they take my joy away. But if I don’t take them I’m one step from ruining my entire life. I hate how I crave social interaction but then feel like everyone finds me annoying or pick me.

I wish marketing teams would sometimes stop feeding into the divide to sell their books. Ik most of the readers for Thrawn: Ascendancy were female (at least on my side of the internet it was) and they marketed it perfectly. I remember being so hyped for all 3 books.

You know what is hysterical to me about all this discourse is that as a woman who LOVES Star Wars. My favorite Star Wars books are all about spacey stuff that I’ve had to explain the mechanics of to grown men before 🤣 I love romance but I do love me some epic ship battles in space a tad bit more.
