I saw the trailer. It’s definitely an “abstract” take on the story with all the gaudy costumes and set pieces. It’s almost trying too hard to be Tim Burton meets Guillermo del Toro.

Even though I don’t agree with his casting, I do think Jacob Elordi is going to be excellent in his role.
