But yeah “gay” is the overarching term for dads. I assume. My father doesn’t know I’m bi (I assume. He might know and choose to ignore since I’ve never brought home a woman) so who knows actually.

The benefits specialist for our department stopped by to give me a hug and help lay out a plan for leave and short term disability and I had snapped at her yesterday and immediately broke down apologizing and she said she read my email and just wanted to hug me and knew I didn’t mean to be rude

I’m going to call the Hartford tonight and discuss switching to a full leave and STD/LTD options for now. It’s a loss of $860 for 5 days waiting period and a loss of 40 & 1/3% of my wages but at least I’d get something rather than nothing.

If I quit or continue to call out, it’s my fault that I don’t have money to eat, pay rent/bills. I have things to catch up on but I’m so fucking incapable of focusing on anything that instead I’m hyperventilating against a toilet stall door.
