I don’t know what I ate but I’m super, super gassy. Took anti-gas pills too and I’m still suffering. I guess I’m just staying away from everyone today at work. Anyone know any home remedies for wtf levels of gas? Like…don’t light a match near me right now.

Almost done cleaning up the tragedy in the basement. There were some dried spots I had to scrub and treat multiple times. And of course I found more spots as I was going. I need to figure out which cat it is. This probably means frequent litter box inspections after they go. My life is glamorous.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Everett after an interaction with members of the Everett Police Department and sent to a juvenile detention facility in Virginia, according to his mother and immigration lawyer Andrew Lattarulo.

The boy’s mother, Josiele Berto, was called to pick her son up from the Everett Police Department on Thursday, the day he was arrested. After waiting for about an hour and a half, she was told her son was taken by ICE, Berto told the Globe in a phone interview.

“My world collapsed,” Berto said in Portuguese.

From the police department, the boy was taken to ICE’s holding facility in Burlington on Thursday evening, where he spent a night before being transferred by car to the Northwestern Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Winchester, Va., on Friday morning, his mother said. The juvenile facility is more than 500 miles away from Everett.

The boy is a 7th-grader at Albert N. Parlin School in Everett, his mother said. The teen and his family, who are Brazilian nationals, have a pending asylum case and are authorized to work legally in the United States, Lattarulo said.

The hits just keep coming. A cat has diarrhea and as evidenced by the dried spots on the basement, it’s been going on for several days, which means they have to go to the vet when I find which one it is. Only one problem: $$. Same one as usual. *sigh*

I cut them in half and put them on a plate with a little water, covered in plastic wrap and nuke. I don’t see why stabbing them nuking a full one wouldn’t work, though. And when I bake them, I don’t cover them at all.

On a separate note the cats have been especially loving today. It makes me suspicious I’m going to go down to do laundry dry and find a pile of crap in the middle of the floor or something 😂😂😂 Or they could just be model kitty-citizens today. You never know.
