The admin is moving to quickly deport witnesses who saw ICE detainee die.
They say the man was just trying to get his meds.
ICE guards shackled him
Then they choked him.
The admin moved to deport the witnesses — right after they spoke to WaPo.

I hope we can keep up the momentum. It’s going to be a long game and we need to take care of each other. Get the toxic individualism out of your head and dedicate yourself to your community. Mutual aid, looking out for and standing up for each other, etc.
I know it’s hard to have optimism right now, but if there’s one thing that is genuinely giving me hope it is seeing communities — hell, neighborhoods, even portions of cities — stand up in unison against tyranny in a way that is active, capable, savvy. It’s really powerful.

Yeah. It was weird going from people to talk to and people to share joy with to nothing. Then the fandom got overrun by hate watchers who insisted the show was dying (for years) and that each new episode was the worst yet, and it generally got toxic. And we all know the shit show of Sherlock fandom.
