I think he’s a fantastic booker. I don’t know how you can watch the show and think he’s bad at any aspect of putting on a great wrestling show. Compelling stories & fantastic match ups. Every show

Sticking with those big venues was such a mistake. The quality of the show never dipped for me, but those empty caverns sucked out all the energy. A sold out 1,500 seater is so much better than 2,200 in a 10k

I’m not sure how someone could dislike Tony Khan. He’s a bit awkward at times, but his love for pro wrestling is obvious and there seem to be endless stories about him doing right by the wrestlers.

I don’t understand why Nielsen ratings are even a thing that matters to wrestling journalists.

Streaming & international deals are utterly unknown. I recognize ratings meant a lot 25-30 years ago, but they just don’t now. They’re just content or propaganda, sometimes both.

An AEW source told Fightful Select that Tony Khan is well aware of how the Nielsen changes work and is adept at what they mean. As for AEW numbers for HBO Max, those are not reported & the viewership has been kept very quiet.
