God eftermiddag J. It doesn't look much, but it's very tasty. Her trick with Beef Stroganoff was to marinate the beef in lemon juice overnight. She was a very good but somewhat chaotic cook. Never followed any rules.

Comfort food and childhood memories. Beef Stroganoff à la Marianne (Marianne was my mum). I won't disturb it for a while, just let it simmer for a couple of hours. Meanwhile, I'm pouring myself a glass of wine.

I'm not a political analyst and it would be ridiculous to pretend otherwise. At this point in time, all I care about is keeping the Russia sponsored Reform party out of power. Just like in the US, media appear infatuated with the hard right, conveniently ignoring their links with Putin.

Gothenburg is called "Little London" in Sweden. It was the gateway to the British Isles in the past, trading, cultural influence and so on. We're notorious for our dry-wit humour, word play and sarcasm, much like the Brits. It's exhausting for other Swedes when we get going.

I'm not in Sweden now, I live in UK. I miss Sweden, I miss the west coast where I'm from (Gothenburg). Not so sure all Swedes are good looking or blond. Although my nieces are, blond that is and good looking. I'm the black sheep of the family. 😉

I had to read that twice. I live in UK, I'm not English, culturally or otherwise. I'm Swedish, and I will always be Swedish. I didn't realise me preferring snaps to tea could possibly allow Reform the fast track to 10 Downing St.
