As Attorney General, I won't just promise to hold lawbreakers accountable — I'll show up Day 1 ready to do it.

To those who break the law and undermine our democracy: See you in court.

As a federal prosecutor, I spent over a decade following the facts and prosecuting liars, cheats, and corrupt officials. I've faced juries and defended facts in courtrooms, not on social media and TV.

That’s why they’re losing, not a “legal insurrection.” And that’s how rule of law works.

You don’t get to say the crazy stuff these folks are saying here in a trial court and get away with it. And you don’t get to impose the power of the federal government against its own people based on little more than a hot take.

Stephen Miller is attacking courts and even Trump-appointed judges because courts, unlike the BS bravado on social media, evaluate facts. And the facts are not on their side.

NEWS: Judge Immergut said the Trump administration's renewed effort to put National Guard troops on the ground in Portland appeared to flout her original order — which found Trump had no legal basis to send federalized troops there.

This is a moment for competition to make a comeback - the future of the internet and a fair, open system for AI is on the line. This case is also a reminder that we can and should fight the abuses of corporate power, no matter how hard the battle, and win. As Americans, we deserve no less.

What happens next is critical.

The exceptional public servants at DOJ, together with 49 Attorneys General led by Colorado and Nebraska, will stay on the beat to make sure Google follows the court’s orders.

Yesterday, the court imposed a series of consequences on Google. While those consequences fall short of what I believe the factual record supports, they include keeping Google under oversight for SIX years.

After years of late nights and long days in the courtroom, the judge agreed that Google illegally “widen[ed] the moats and pull[ed] up the drawbridges” to shut out competition.

Yesterday’s decision in U.S. v. Google marks a historic moment in the fight against the concentration and abuse of power. I had the privilege of leading the dedicated team of public servants at the Department of Justice that originally took this case to trial.

Tina Peters was lawfully - and unanimously - convicted by a jury of 12 of her peers in Mesa County. To try to extort Colorado into overturning their judgment is just more of the same antidemocratic playbook.

President Trump is demanding the release of a former Colorado county elections official who was found guilty of charges connected to sneaking someone into her office to search for evidence to try to prove that the 2020 election was stolen.

That same spirit—and the belief in the American Dream my parents came here to chase—drives me to fight for fairness and accountability so Colorado families can thrive.

It’s my honor to be endorsed by @IA_Impact. Growing up, our South Asian community showed me what hope, resilience, and possibility look like.

A robust journalism industry is the backbone for a functioning democracy. This merger is all the more troubling because it comes at a time where more, not less, investigation and transparency are needed.

When big media conglomerates merge, executives get even richer and communities lose. Local reporters do the hard work of investigating those stories that hit closest to home and help us hold power to account.

The parent company of 9NEWS is being acquired by the parent company of FOX31 in Denver and the stations will be combined, according to the company's CEO. Here's what we know:

This abuse of power demeans and distracts from DOJ’s mission to fight for public safety, civil rights, and a fair, transparent economic system that works for all, not just the powerful.

The Constitution gives states the power to conduct our elections and we’ll fight to protect that authority — in court and at the ballot box. Colorado's democracy isn't negotiable.

Taking advice from Putin on free and fair elections? Come on. Reality check: if Trump’s coming for our elections here in Colorado, he will lose.

Growing up, weekend dinners with the few South Asian families that lived nearby were where I first saw the American Dream. Now, walking into a similar gathering, I feel that same spirit - where tradition meets purpose. I’m proud to stand with a Colorado community rooted in hope and possibility.
