I’m not saying the documentary isn’t good, but I personally found it almost unimaginably sad.

Like, after my favorite artist of all time died, I was comforted by the fact that he did so only after witnessing how much he meant to millions and millions of people

This doc all-but ignores that

As someone with a history of neck issues, the doc doesn’t paint a particularly rosy picture of my future either.

And I don’t have the unlimited money for medical treatment that Ozzy had 😱

Watched Ozzy: No Escape from Now and I wasn’t prepared for how bleak it was.

I thought that it’d end on a triumphant note, following the universal acclaim that Back to the Beginning enjoyed, largely due to Ozzy’s heroic performance at the event, despite overwhelming odds.

But it very much did NOT.

Not thrilled that the seller of these Spider-Man McFarlane Era prism cards sent all six of ‘em internationally in this ancient plastic case with next to no protection…but they got here fine and weeks ahead of schedule, so I guess all’s well that ends well.

I’m watching the BBC Ozzy documentary.

Ozzy was and will always remain my favorite musician of all time.

When he died, family and friends told me they were surprised how well I was taking it, such that being a fan was a part of how they see me.

But watching this is fucking *hard*.
