One advantage of watching by plugging the laptop directly into the TV rather than putting it on a USB stick is VLC can handle the subtitles on the pop up boxes much better, so this time I'm learning about future Doctor Who guest star Thomas Edison!

Akari could so easily seem a complete idiot by going full Scully on this when we know 100% Takeru is indeed a ghost, but Onari beinh just as extreme in going the other way balances it out.

I get covid restrictions meant a large regular cast was easier than the usual number of one off guest stars (as well as establishing bubbles, it gave them options of actors to go film with instead if anyone went down with it), but this show has too many broadly similar guys.

The first time I saw these (which would have been the "complete but with edits for anything too sexual from Lister whilst we wait to see how the Craig Charles rape trial goes" repeat run after season VI?), I'd have said Polymorph was the best episode of III. But it's actually Last Day, isn't it?

I think that's the first time the lights have been turned on since Earthshock.

It's the Kryten has to face his planned obsolescence one.

Up till now, Kryten has actually been an odd fit into the show, basically just reducing Holly to an extra.

This is brilliant, hilarious and moving in turn.
