I remember having this conversation *a few years ago* about 👖 and Levi was a perfect test case for it. At the time the LVC line was made in America and the rest was sourced globally. A pair of 501 jeans from the standard line was $50, and a pair of 501 jeans from the LVC line was $150. Same garment.
