Yeah. It sucked paying $375 a month for my room in a real two-bedroom apartment in the east village, nyc in the 90s.

It sucked only working three shifts a week at a coffee shop and still afford to go to school, paint on large canvases, pay for vocal coaching, rehearsal studios, and be in a band.
