If I can give you 1 thing that I have learned on my Lupus, cancer, chronic illness and pain and other medical journeys, it would be: we must always have hope. Even in the midst of the darkness and pain, when you are feeling alone and unable to speak because it hurts we must always find the light. 🙏💜

They did all the tests; bloods, ultrasound, CT scan, rulled out anything that would need emergency surgery. Thankfully the pain has also been gradually reducing with bedrest which is a huge relief. I’m still waiting on more tests over the next few weeks but at at last we are home and comfortable 💚

I will be the first to admit I couldn’t understand why anyone would oppose Assisted Dying… and then I became disabled and had it “offered” to me.
It’s not compassionate when there’s coercion.
It’s not dignified when it’s offered in lieu of care.
