If they're culminated & can't win, they're defeated. If they can't gain land or take any of Putin's war aims, they're defeated. Their attempts to break out look like tiny reconnaissance. Their morale is crashing, and the Russia needs mercenaries to sustain the fight. Economic collapse is imminent

The brilliance is that it's an accurate portrait of the characters the actors portrayed. The interviews with some of the real contemporaries, even though they don't agree about everything, are realistic Memories are not always identical. But they can't. They are defeated. They can't bring the power to bear because they lack the manpower, tactics, materiel, resources, and supplies. They can't win; they can only delay acknowledging their loss. Putin will fight on to avoid accountability. Russia will have to rise up or freeze soon.

There's likely even much more collaboration than either country will expose. The secret history of the covert efforts to assist Ukraine may come out some day. Right now, we see a priority of targets, being precisely hit at the perfect time to achieve Ukraine’s war aims - Russia out or collapsed.

If James visits the home regularly then it is available to her for personal use, which means it is not a “rental investment property” as defined by the mortgage rider…and therefore negates the central claim of the indictment

NYT reports that Letitia James’s great niece lives in the home that is the subject of the indictment.

The niece reportedly testified before a *different* grand jury, telling them that she had lived there for many years without paying rent. James visits regularly.

Yesterday I was told that the class I’m scheduled to teach this month, Confronting Oppression & Injustice, is no longer part of our curriculum. This is a required class yet there was no discussion, no faculty vote, just an email saying the class no longer exists. This is what it’s like in Texas now.
