Also, I have to wait to get portfolio approvals and when content releases to be able to share stuff of course. I tried a few months ago for some approvals but it got put on hold. I think I should be able to try again soon though!

Yeah sometimes it’s just do I have the mental energy right now kinda thing lol. I’ve been finding myself drifting away from a lot of social media as of late, but still wanting those small pockets of genuine community interactions online if that makes sense

I feel the same way! I love what I get to work on every day honestly. I’m extremely fortunate to feel like this quote "Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Obviously this can’t be the case every day but it really is most days for me ❤️

I think some of it too is subconsciously a fear of what I say online. Im like simultaneously a nobody but also a somebody. My words can be used against me even if I had no intention to speak ill or draw attention to myself just cause I’m a dev

on the one hand, it has felt really reassuring to have a community of game people to navigate these brutal industry days.

on the other, it would be great if we could stop needing to collectively mourn the collapse of our livelihoods, health, and futures every other day of the week.
