The recent rains have encouraged lots of gorgeous fungi to grow in the woodlands and I am reminded, as I am every year, of how difficult fungi are to identify. So, I just try to take pretty photos instead of taxing my brain to put names to them. #Fungi

We roughly set up the tree today to get an idea on how it will look. Will get some tiny wire lights instead of these big bulky ones. Attached some red belted conks to give a mushroom/nature vibe lol. It will serve as our Christmas tree too. It's going to be a long winter I believe. My poor hubby 😂

I'm having a wee rest. I plan on no more work this weekend. Working seven days a week for very little is hard to maintain.
Listing to my 'new to me' Haydn records and reading 'The Outrun' by Amy Liptrot. She has weaved some beautiful words here, no wonder it won the Wainwright Prize. #Booksky

My shop is very quiet. I had hoped it would be busier by now.
Went into the city centre today with some donations for the charity shop.
Not been well physically and not great mentally this week. It was really too much for me today, shouldn't have done it.
...but I did have a very lucky find👇
