We got an award three times now, but we also didn't get it twice. Each submission was incredibly valuable, and I would recommend considering it for your own business if you don't have the means to put in place a proper 3rd party managed company review.

I like to say that's an award I don't care about winning.
Also, technically, this is the only award we are submitting to, as we see its value in the process.

That informed our plans for 2025, we put together a number of initiatives to improve on that front.

As a team of 20, we talk all the time about our processes and we are close to the day-to-day. But having a tool that allows all of us to take a step back, assess what we are doing, is precious.

As a company, we receive learnings from those anonymous submissions, and it is an amazing tool to gauge where we are doing well, where we are on par, and where we need to improve.

For instance, in the 2024 report, it was highlighted that we were lacking on the training side of things.

This is not about winning the awards - as part of the submission, all the employees are given an anonymous form to fill in about many aspects of the company and how it functions. The questions are pretty thorough and comprehensive.
