Going with a duvet is always a great choice. Acquiring a new duvet cover instead of an entirely new comforter is pretty nice.

Remember begging for, and finally getting, a corduroy nautica comforter as a high schooler. Lasted me well through college. Eventually suffered a few years as a result of the dog loving to chew toys and bones on the bed.

I have a synthetic-down comforter from Macy’s hotel collection that I love. In addition I rotate through a collection of vintage quilts, comforters and my Pendleton blankets.
