I hold a Master of Unlimited Tonnage license. On any bridge, merchant or naval, professionalism matters. Presence and decorum is how command is communicated under pressure. Star Trek’s bridge should reflect that reality. SciFi or not, the seat should project readiness and respect for the watch.

I don't think that they're looking for a body. It's a suburban neighborhood. Tall desert vegetation, but every inch is someone's yard. If there was a body, the vultures would have made it obvious. They're looking for evidence.

The USA and Russia should immediately lock each other into a deal by extending New START. Then Trump can worry about China, he can have similar talks with China. If the US and China can agree to a lower limit of warheads, he could always make it contingent on Russia agreeing as well. Dumb!

This treaty keeps deployed warheads to about 1500. Trump turn it down citing he wants China in the deal. China has maybe 500'ish. Below NS levels.

I broke down and watched the first episode of Starfleet Academy. The highlight was the EMH saying "medical tricorder", a throwback to Voyager's first episode. Other than that, it sucked really, really bad. It wasn't even entertaining.

But if you're in the vicinity of Bricktown (OKC) and a guy in a chair asks for money while claiming to be a vet... Be careful. I won't say to not give him money on the chance it's someone else. But, I'd ask him to prove his claim.

My brother is a disabled vet, we both have a Purple Heart. But my brother got really messed up and he's super lucky to be alive. I tried to appeal to this guy. I'm not sure if I got through. This is not a cool thing to be doing. I was hoping to see the "prop" go to someone who could use it.
