"If the 'Taiwan independence' armed forces dare to provoke a conflict, they will inevitably be wiped out," ministry spokesperson Jiang Bin said on Tuesday in Beijing.

There's an F-35 pilot in Japan (with a lot of friends) that might have a say in the matter.

I think there's a very good chance that the "ask first" method could get you a license, especially if the artist wants exposure. But just assuming something is yours to use as you please doesn't work with very many musicians. That's when licensing becomes a nightmare.

She seems to be a decent person socially. But not so much for business. Music is business. This statement: "Like, they couldnโ€™t just appreciate this Olympic team competing?" is very self-centered. Congratulations, you're awesome. Now pay the artist what you owe them.

"The judge said the law improperly targets federal officers by treating them differently than state law enforcement officers, who were excluded from the mask ban."

Not sure why state law enforcement was excluded, but Gov. Gav, that seems like an easy fix.

Well, he's worried about it enough that when the DNI finally (8 months too late) sent the report to Congress it was redacted citing executive privilege. That means it involves the POTUS and the POTUS doesn't want Congress to know about it.

If it were to (hypothetically) become known that NSA wiretapped foreign intel officers discussing a crypto payment to one of the President's sons in return to an agreement that provides something of value from the United States... it would be impossible for even Mike Johnson to avoid impeaching him.

The bar is high. This however is the NSA tapped a convo between two foreign intel officers discussing a matter about a person close to the POTUS who isn't in administration or has special gov assignment (eg: sons) and it went to Congress redacted under "exec privilege" indicating Trump involved.

First, this is how whistleblower system is supposed to work, other than DNI holding it from Congress. She had 21 days to deliver it and intentionally withheld it. It's important these laws are followed so people don't just "put it out there" (eg: Snowden). Second, this has POTUS impeachment vibes.
Details reveal more about whistleblower complaint against Tulsi Gabbard
The complaint was based on the intercept of a conversation between two foreign citizens discussing a person close to President Donald Trump, according to the whistleblowerโ€™s lawyer.

An academy just prepares you for being an officer. Entry level officers have no command responsibility. That is accumulated as you advance your career. So in Star Trek terms, Worf went to the Academy, while Picard also went to the Academy and much later took courses at the War College.

I don't mind there being a war college, but the concept is being misused. In real life, they're typically for officers (not cadets) who are advancing their careers. It's where we go to learn things like mass atrocity prevention, leadership, strategy, etc... for people with 15+ years of service.

People are going to drive if they have a license or not. Without a license, they cannot obtain insurance. If someone rear ends me at an intersection, I would personally prefer it if they had insurance. That would be great. These state laws are going to be very expensive!

I've operated vehicles all over the world, including areas where I didn't know the local language. The only problems I had (and they weren't really problems) was communicating at checkpoints, common in many countries. There's no reason to make driver's test English only. It makes us less safe.
