There has to be some kind of parking lot nearby where they could have staged the press and setup a mobile command center (if for no other reason, it makes the press think something is happening) with a PIO that can appear and give a statement every 12 hours or so.

I hate to keep blaming the sheriff, but this isn't the media's fault. Sheriff should have had a staging area for the press established and kept the property off limits. Cadaver and scent tracking dogs would have been immediately useful. Harder with contaminated scene for dogs to work.

Just for the record, I not only cut my grass, but also cut several hundred acres of hay, occasionally I have frothy adult beverage and I feed my dogs twice every day. I don't have any problems being country in this country nowadays. I think Kid Rock's pal's problem is he's lazy and bigoted.

There was blood found by the door, confirmed to by Nancy's. A cadaver dog would have been able to offer some big clues at the scene, and used with some scent tracker dogs they could have identified whether they loaded in the driveway, or crossed someone's property to another road. No dogs reported.

These dogs can detect death sometimes in as little as 30-mins after it occurs and the compounds they detect can linger for a long time. It is reasonable in a case like this to walk the property/street with such a dog. It doesn't rule out death, but increases probability she left house alive.

It could be an insurance payout or or any number of things... but something happened in that house and the sheriff's office seems pretty clueless, or at least it seems so from the outside looking in. I've still seen no reports of cadaver dogs. My dad would have done that immediately.

I learned a lot growing up with a sheriff dad. Things like how criminals behave, investigation techniques, that there's three sides to every story (story 1, story 2 and the truth) and so on and I have to agree with Swecker.
I think the kidnapping/ransom is just a thing to throw off investigation.

Well, he's worried about it enough that when the DNI finally (8 months too late) sent the report to Congress it was redacted citing executive privilege. That means it involves the POTUS and the POTUS doesn't want Congress to know about it.

If it were to (hypothetically) become known that NSA wiretapped foreign intel officers discussing a crypto payment to one of the President's sons in return to an agreement that provides something of value from the United States... it would be impossible for even Mike Johnson to avoid impeaching him.
