I've not seen reports of LEO using dogs at house. One of the first things my dad (a sheriff) would have done is had someone walk street/property with cadaver dog to rule out potential homicide. I think it's kind of weird they didn't (or at least news hasn't reported it if they did).

For what it's worth... I still think the most likely outcome is someone she knew. It's been a week, she's on important meds. Past 72 hours, that usually gets critical. I don't think person is really after a ransom, I think it's likely something to try and throw off investigation. But, we'll see.

I'm pretty impressed with KOLD. They didn't ask for it and I am quite sure didn't want it, but they have become the intermediary between the Guthrie Family and what may be the kidnappers. They're sitting on news everyone wants, they're journalists and they're being very responsible.

I'm not sure if it matters anymore. I don't think there's very many people in the USA with "major media buying money" who want to run an apolitical organization and not have their fingers in the White House money jar. The only way WaPo will ever matter again is to make it employee owned/controlled.

I haven't watched a Super Bowl since the 90s (Emmitt Smith forever!). The commercials were better back then. I won't be watching this one. I know nothing about the teams, no investment. I'll probably be climbing my antenna tower tomorrow. I have some work to do up there that I've been avoiding.

It would be quite a stretch for an armed F-22 to take off from the states and fly to Iran. Configured for combat, it wouldn't have extra tanks. That's a lot of fuel ups. And a very long flight for a fighter.
Are we bombing Iran during the superbowl because Donald is butt sore that Bad Bunny and Green Day are playing?

That said, I was raised by a sheriff and grew up a lot at the sheriff's office. I've seen a few things from this sheriff that hasn't impressed me. One of the first things I would have done is canvass the neighborhood with a cadaver dog. That didn't happen. "We assume she's alive and work that angle"

Not unless a person is at the very top of the field. That would require international recognition in the press, awards, and things like that. I think at best she would be defined as a "working prostitute" and not exactly "the world's top prostitute". So, I don't think she qualified for an EB-1A.

Don't get me wrong, she's already a citizen and that's hard to undue. She did obtain that citizenship via fraud, so it's possible. Just unlikely. But regardless, there seems to be a loophole in the system that has been exploited and I bet it wasn't the first or last time. We need to know.

I think we all deserve to know who those people are and at some point, they should have to answer to Congress about Melania's "Extraordinary Ability." This needs fixed.
