also some details for ppl going into it new: u can switch back and style the other gender manekin and gacha roll items for them (shared pool). which might suck if u only wanted to work on one gender, i got a lot of female items last night thru the f2p rolls.

i cut a lot of bread out of my diet recently and my cholesterol levels were nearly the same anyways 😒 i could have more omega-3 / anti-inflammatory foods in my diet at least

at Doc appt and one of the aides went over my recent test results and told me high cholesterol = heart disease was a lie lol (but it made me feel better)

i just spent half an hour playing two "simulator" games lol... mining and farming (upgrading / seeing numbers go up is big satisfaction). Ed already got a red jacket from the f2p cosmetic roll (you STILL HAVE TO CRAFT THE DAMN THINGS BEFORE U CAN USE THEM) which is fitting!

things i've heard that i know i won't like/pay for lol: obviously the fancy gacha* outfits are all paid currency, but another dumb thing i heard is a) outfits are genderlocked so u can't wear dresses as with the male model, but also b) you have to unlock BOTH gender versions if u wanna swap btw them

alt account was suffering for the longest time at no SSR pulls for last couple of months. luckily the latest welfare re-releases is filling in some roster gaps. although the event is slow to run b/c of the nature of Grail Front battles, im having fun running both Day and Night difficulty on 2 accts

There’s a free application, shutup10++, that lets you disable all the shitty windows stuff with a series of checkboxes.
It even tracks if windows rolls anything back between updates and lets you reverse the changes with a click.
I can personally recommend shutup10++ if you need to stick with windows

If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.

i'm reviewing old Genshin story quests again and i find it highly ironic that a bunch of the Sumeru character quests highly involve themes expounding upon the detriments of relying on "A/I usage" to replace human ingenuity and emotions 2 years ago and now how relevant these themes r today.
