I used to love pasties (preferably cheese and onion, but corned beef was also good) in a buttered stottie (a round, soft, white oven bottom bread from north east England).

I see that both Labour and the Tories are calling for pro-Palestinian protests to be cancelled in light of today's anniversary of the Hamas attacks. I also note that the genocidal Israeli attacks on Palestinian civilians continue unabated. What can it all mean?

The UK political right, from Labour rightwards, are in a vile, bullying race to the bottom over immigration, such so that it will become another monumental act of self harm, akin to Brexit. All to appease the racist right, who cannot be appeased.
