And then I remembered while Sinners is excellent, it's written from a cishet Black man's POV. And that's what I can bring, and a lot of Black creatives can bring to the table: the expansion of horror from an intersectional perspective.

The U.S. author recently blocked from leaving the U.S. reminded me of Robeson, Du Bois, and another free Black gentleman who was denied a passport when he wanted to leave the U.S. after the Dred Scott decision (his name will come to me).
