I went in for the original stress test and it was some sort of card game. I guess it has evolved a bit since then.

The most unexpected element of playing #OVER/UNDER so far (trust me, I'll shut up about it eventually) has been learning some pretty illuminating lessons about actual misinfo/disinfo. Some of which I've read before, but "living it" has made how it works, when it works, and why it works much clearer.

Character sheet changes, the Attribute Mutation was changed to Terazome (genetic library of monstrosity), which my Dev editor liked a lot better. Avoids confusing it with plural Mutations, which are actual... Mutations stemming from the Terazome. Still nuts but more cleanly delineated.

It's almost like having nearly the entire web on one monopoly service is bad.

I'm a tactics ogre fan and started Reborn but haven't gotten very far. It has a different feel to it in a lot of ways I have trouble placing.

Are you doing the Reborn version or the original?

My kid broke one of my d100 golf-ball-of-doom dice from long long ago in the before times. I just thought you all might like to see what is inside of these. Little plastic beads! It snaps back together but it is a bit fragile now.

Review filler?

So much restructuring and rejiggering after getting dev editing. Next update is massively improved, decluttered, and simplified. I am offloading a lot of the mental space behind Mutations onto the character sheet directly, and the racing rules are getting streamlined. Love dev edits to be honest.

I mean, old school D&D goes from Cops and Robbers (or more unfortunately, cowboys and indians) at low levels to House at higher domain-levels.

I wonder how it was taken, really. Was it mistakenly seen as misogyny, or was it seen correctly as a jab at the self-aggrandization of many designers?

The world may never know.
