I've done a bit of early dev work on this game, and it's got a lot of REALLY cool stuff going on. I'll be doing more work on it soon too! You don't wanna sleep on this one - watt is doing some really unique and smart stuff here. #TTRPG

So on the one post #OVER/UNDER discord I'm in, we've already had two 6+ player TTRPG sessions of 2 different systems with 2 more on the docket for next week (1 of which is another system). Plus, we've had a PBP/LTRP server spinoff from it as well. I'm already thinking about what I want to play next!

This was fun! It's fun to play games and run games and play with new folks and see people interact with new systems! What I'm saying is: Games are Good.
Ran @norgad.bsky.social's DEAD WEIGHT for a 6-player @mothership.bsky.social crew (from the Marlowe's Rest gang). A great cascading crisis module with an extremely weird twist. One of those modules I have no idea how it will play out until it does (which means I'm having lots of fun as the GM).

Today's used bookstore finds. Finally got a wonderful copy of the first Discworld book I ever read, plus an immaculate Narnia box set from '88. I don't have a copy currently and have been pondering a re-read. Meant to be.

I was really not expecting Welcome to Derry to be nearly as fun as it is. Much campier and more lighthearted than I expected, and it's got tons of fun creature stuff happening plus a pulpy as hell military subplot.

Any cassette tape sickos out there have a solid recommendation for a player? I'd ideally like something with it's own speakers (these don't have to be good, it's a cassette player after all) and a headphone jack. Maybe Bluetooth, if that's cheap/included.

Road trip TTRPG idea where between each node on a map, you have to set a real life timer and just sit or talk in-character or play little games or listen to music or read a book (as your character) to pass the time. 5 mins for short drives between destinations. 10 mins for medium. 15 mins for long.
