While I've almost checked out of the D&D world, I find full product offering deep dive research FASCINATING (don't ask me how many YouTube holes I've fallen into about drinks ok). It is wild to think that you can just...know everything about a product line, but here it is and here we are. Very cool.

Actually Origins isn't an update of the series from 2015, it's a whole new history that focuses on each and every product TSR released for OD&D, AD&D 1E, and Basic D&D.

I've done a few interviews about Designers & Dragons Origins over the last few days, and some folks have asked about the origins of Origins.

There's a long-ish story about the DnDClassics site and the return of D&D PDFs to the world.

The product histories emerged organically from that.
