Check their TOS, but even then, any TOS that boots you to the end, cancels your commission for asking a few months after you’ve commissioned, or punishes you for wanting to know status after a few months, red flag imo

yeah, most ppl get real ramped up for someone else bc some have the Autistic Sense of Justice. its very real and there’s a lack of tact that can come with that lmao

no one should be afraid to ask an artist about their piece. I couldn’t even imagine. :(

I don’t know if you needed to hear this from another artist or not, but it’s okay to ask an artist for an update on your art you commissioned and paid money for despite an artists’ personal issues going on.
They are still taking your money and owe you a service, especially if you’ve been waiting.
